Built on Real Experience

We started PrimeXUltratek because we kept seeing the same problem everywhere. Great database professionals were hard to find, and the training available just wasn't cutting it for real-world challenges.

How We Got Here

Back in 2019, I was consulting for a manufacturing company in Taichung. Their database was a mess – performance issues, data integrity problems, the works. But here's what struck me: they had hired three different "database experts" over two years, and none could fix the fundamental issues.

The problem wasn't talent. These were smart people. The problem was that their training focused on textbook scenarios, not the messy, complex situations you actually face when systems have been running for years with patches on top of patches.

That's when Henrik and I decided to create something different. Training that starts with broken systems, works through real problems, and teaches you to think like a database detective rather than just follow procedures.

What Drives Us Forward

Real Problems First

We start every lesson with actual database disasters we've encountered. You learn to diagnose issues the way experienced professionals do – by understanding what went wrong and why.

Practical Skills

Theory matters, but knowing how to recover from a corrupted index at 3 AM matters more. Our programs focus on skills you'll actually use when things go sideways.

Long-term Growth

Database administration is a career that rewards deep understanding. We help you build the foundation that keeps paying dividends years down the road.

The People Behind the Programs

We're not just instructors – we're working database professionals who still get called in when systems fail and companies need problems solved fast.

Our Journey in Database Education

Early 2020

Started with weekend workshops for local IT professionals. Focused on performance troubleshooting using real case studies from our consulting work.

Mid 2022

Expanded to comprehensive certification programs. Added advanced topics like disaster recovery and multi-database synchronization based on student feedback.

Late 2024

Launched specialized tracks for different industries. Manufacturing, finance, and healthcare each have unique database challenges that require targeted approaches.

Looking Ahead

Building partnerships with Taiwan's tech sector to create more hands-on learning opportunities. The goal is getting students experience with systems they couldn't break otherwise.

Ready to Build Real Database Skills?

Our next comprehensive program starts in September 2025. We keep class sizes small so everyone gets hands-on time with the systems we use for training. Want to know if it's right for your situation?
